ICS 2009 (Lisbon, Portugal)

The 10th International Coastal Symposium (ICS) was held in Lisbon, Portugal in April of 2009. A special acknowledge was given to Dr. Charles Finkl and CERF for their support in making this coastal symposium a success. ICS 2007 (Queensland, Australia)

The 9th International Coastal Symposium (ICS) was held along the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, and was gratiously hosted by Griffith University. The Symposium was successfully organized by a local scientific committee, led by Charles Lemckert (Chair), and by Dr. Charles W. Finkl (CERF). ICS 2004

(Santa Catarina, Brazil)

The 8th International Coastal Symposium (ICS) was held in Itajai/Itapema, Santa Catarina, Brazil, and focused on the increasing socioeconomic pressures on fragile coastal environments. The Symposium was successfully organized by the Universidade do Vale do Itajai (UNIVALI), through its Centro do Ciencias Tecnologicas da Terra e do Mar (CTTMar), the Associacao Brasileira de Oceanografia (AOCEANO), and the Coastal Education & Research Foundation (CERF).
