#43-Tidal Dynamics & Environment (2004) [Healy]

-Tidal dynamics are a very complex entity, as these waxing and waning forces are created by the Moon (~68%), the Sun (~32%), and the Earth's relative rotation with respect to the Moon and the Sun. This JCR Special Issue includes a thorough collection of papers that explores the nature of tidal fluid dynamics and the coastal environments that are subsequently affected by their fluctuations. Dr. Terry Healy, research professor and coastal expert at The University of Waikato in New Zealand, served as the guest editor on this addition.
