17-embossed small

-Coastal hazards are the natural and man-made events that impact our coastal environments. Being so complex and diverse, the study of coastal hazards comprises basic sciences and their applications, the economic, cultural, and social effects caused by them, and the management systems used to combat them. This JCR Special Issue, edited by Dr. Charles W. Finkl (Journal of Coastal Research Editor-in-Chief), presents a multitude of studies needed to properly research the varied aspects of coastal hazards upon the world's shorelines.
